How did our Franciacortas fare in the 2025 wine guides and in the tasting notes of the year just ended?

Let’s take stock starting from the Edea line, with Brut that won the Gold Medal from Wine Hunter, received 92 points form the wine critic Kerin O’Keefe and 91 points from Vinous by Antonio Galloni.

The Rosé also did well, with 92 points from Vinous and Kerin O’Keefe plua the Red Award from Wine Hunter,

The performance of Satèn 2020 was splendid: 5 Sfere from Sparkle (maximum recognition), 4 Stelle by Vinibuoni d’Italia, 93 points according to Kerin O’Keefe plus the Red award by Wine Hunter.

Moving to Demetra line, the 2019 Millesimato did very well, with the excellent 94+ from Vinous, 4 Rose Camune on Viniplus by Associazione Italiana Sommelier Lombardy, our county, and 95 points to vintage 2018 by Kerin O’Keefe. Demetra Pinot Nero 2019 was awarded with 4 Stelle on Vinibuoni d’Italia, Demetra Rosé 2016 90 points on the German magazine Falstaff, Demetra Pinot Bianco 93/100 from Kerin O’Keefe and, with Demetra Senza Solfiti Aggiunti, the Red Award by Wine Hunter.

Our Franciacorta Riserva received many awards: DØM 2017 obtains 5 Grappoli on Bibenda, the Gemma from Guida Vitae by AIS, the Rosa d’Oro from Viniplus, 4 Stelle from Vinibuoni d’Italia, 93 points on Falstaff, the Gold Award by Wine Hunter and 96/100 from Kerin O’Keefe with vintage 2016.

Very positive ratings and well distributed across the three lines, confirming the attention we pay to classic Franciacortas as well as to Millesimati and Riservas.
