Guided tour and tasting

27 June 2021

The cellar tour is a moment of pleasure, but also of knowledge. At Mirabella, our guides welcome you with an introduction to the host territory, Franciacorta, and then take you to the cellar, a building founded in 1942 and rich in history.

The first large room is a sort of “wine nursery”: it houses the steel vats for fermentation and storage, as well as eighteen beautiful concrete tanks, laid in place: a monument to the art of wine, which we guard with every care.

Then begins the descent into the “heart” of Mirabella, the underground cellar surrounded by the waters of the Molinaria stream, which guarantee very cool temperatures in every season. You will walk among niches filled with stacked bottles, pupitres with large formats in the remuage phase, glasses with aphrometers that detect the pressure.

You will then go upstairs to visit the area of the gyropallets, devices for the automatic shaking of the bottles, and the bottling and disgorging area.

The last stop will be the tasting room, an environment of contemporary taste where our guides, oenologists, or qualified sommeliers, will uncork our best Franciacortas for you accompanied by artisanal breadsticks without seasoning, so as not to affect the purity of the tasting.

You may easily book online our tour and tasting here. For any information, we are at your disposal at +39 030 611197 or +39 331 2942869 (Whatsapp) or by sending a mail to visit@mirabellafranciacorta.it.

Take advantage of your visit to Rodengo Saiano for a tour of the Abbey of San Nicola, with frescoes by the major painters of the renowned Brescia School. If you love trekking, try your hand at the life path that starts right outside our cellar.

Rodengo Saiano offers interesting restaurants. Try the historical family-owned Ristorante Gaudenzi, very close to our cellars, or Hostaria Uva Rara in Monticelli Brusati.
